Spyder is an exciting young Irish Draught Stallion for the future.   He has an excellent attitude to work, with perfect manners, good looks tremendous presence extravagant movement and an amazingly relaxed trainable temperament.  

Spyder has now been fully vetted with Weatherby's and is on the None Thoroughbred Register, issuing weatherby's NTR covering certificates. 

Spyder was lightly backed in the spring/summer 2010 by friend and Intermediate Event rider, Tracey Shakesphere (Ginge).  Spyder is now continuing his ridden career,  after achieving 100% fertility in his first year at stud. Spyder had a total of six mares and we are very much looking forward to foals on the ground we are awaiting two more foals due very soon, but the foals that he has had to date will all be grey fillies!  Spyder has truly stamped his stock with all of his attributes including his incredible kind and trainable temperament.
 
He has classic Irish Draught breeding going back to Pride of Shaunlara.
 
His bloodlines are an asset to the purebred enthusiast, whilst his bone and temperament  would compliment most TB and part bred mares producing progeny to excel in a wide range of Sport and Show horses.

Spyder's Sire Young Prospect RID was a grade one life approved Registered Irish Draught Stallion. YP was successfully NASTA performance tested and was regularly hunted and had BSJA winnings.

YP was brother to International event horse Blarney Badger & International Show Jumper Rathlin Star, as well as being a sire of numerous successful young event, show jumping and show horses.

Young Prospect’s youngstock have been going from strength to strength, from being accepted into the Whitakers’ show jumping yard, to heading for HOYS with Robert Oliver. In addition, HM the Queen has repeatedly used Young Prospect.Spyder’s Dam Ashill Silver Lady RID is by the RID stallion Fast Silver and is sister to successful showjumpers Rockbarton Silver and Silver come Fast. Spyder was the first foal for this young mare who was purchased in Ireland and brought over to England to become a foundation mare.

Spyder was shown successfully over the last three years in hand, competing in ID young stock classes rarely being out of the ribbons. Some of his show successes include:
